School Counseling Lessons:
Primary students - will receive Child Safety Matters lessons. These will teach students to be empowered to spot and respond to dangers through learning the four safety rules.
Upper Elementary - Students will learn about coping mechanisms and review different coping statements that they can utilize during tough situations.
Erdkinder Students - continue to explore their aptitudes and interests through the YouScience Portal, designed to aid in their career exploration.
The Choice School Application process begins on January 10th, and families will have until January 25th to complete the applications. Please note that all PreK students will need to complete the application to secure a Kindergarten spot for the 26-27 school year. Career Speaker Day:
Career Speaker Day for Lower El, Upper El, and Erdkinder students will be on Friday, February 27th. Speakers will visit multiple classrooms to give brief presentations about their career and answer questions. If you would like to volunteer to come speak about what you do & love, please fill out this form.
YouScience Career Exploration:
YouScience is an incredible tool to give an idea of interests and careers our students may have. Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are taking this career aptitude survey. Results may help your student think about future careers and help with decisions about choice high schools.
To access your child's YouScience results, please follow these steps. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
